How North House got its start in Vancouver

North House started with a simple idea: founders build better when they're surrounded by people who get it.

In November 2025, we opened the doors to North House Vancouver, an 8,000-square-foot workspace and community built for early-stage founders and their teams.

We celebrated the LOI way, with an anti-gala bringing together founders, investors and people who've been there before, including Eric Ries, author of The Lean Startup, Tara Bosch, founder of SmartSweets, Ryan Holmes, founder of Hootsuite, and Daniel Dubois, LOI alum and investor.

More than 300 people joined us, and the event raised over $100,000 to support North House.

But North House was never just about desks or square footage. It's about giving founders a place to work alongside people who challenge them, share what they've learned and genuinely want to see each other succeed.

It started in Vancouver, but the bigger vision has always been about helping founders find their people, build ambitious companies and stay connected along the way.
